Meet Our Team
DR. CARPENTER
Dr. Carpenter has continued his advanced studies post dental school to provide complete care dentistry options to his patients. He finished the residency program at the Dawson Academy and is a practicing Dawson Scholar. He has also completed further training at the Misch International Implant Institute, Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and Spear education. For fun, Dr. Carpenter enjoys the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, country music and firing up the grill/smoker.
LINDSEY
Dental Assistant
Lindsey graduated from Stockton High School in 2020. She graduated from Salina Area Technical College in 2021 and successfully obtained her Certification in Dental Assisting from the Dental Assisting National Boards in May of 2021. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her horses, and also enjoys hunting and fishing. Lindsey is excited to come back and serve the rural Kansas communities.
RACHEL
Registered Dental Hygienist
Rachel is originally from Manhattan, Kansas. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology from Kansas State University in 2010 and then went on to get her associate’s degree in dental hygiene from Manhattan Area Technical College. Rachel is married to Lucas and together they have two beautiful daughters named June and Rose. Rachel enjoys boating, baking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
BLAIR
Registered Dental Hygienist
Blair was born and raised in southcentral Kansas where she graduated from Goddard High School in 2009. She attended Kansas State University for her prerequisite classes and later graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Wichita State University. While in school, Blair was a member of the honor society Beta Sigma Kappa and graduated with high honors in her class. She resides with her husband in Osborne, KS along with their two children. In her free time she loves to barrel race, garden, bow-hunt, and travel. Blair enjoys getting to know her patients individually, continuing to learn what is new in dental hygiene and prevention, performing gentle yet thorough cleanings, and providing high quality dental care.
DENISE
Scaling Assistant
Denise was born in Stockton, KS and went to college in Concordia. She spent many years in South Carolina and Virginia and has 2 wonderful daughters, Lindsey and Savannah. Denise has been back in Stockton and working in dental for over a decade! She loves spending time with her partner Doug, their family, and staying cool at the pool in the summertime! We are so lucky to have Denise and her vibrant personality and expertise at Down-Home Dental.
GINA
Administrative Assistant
Gina is a Kansas native and appreciates the landscape and the friendliness of people in our region. She has spent most of her lifetime in Osborne and was a 1988 OHS graduate. Though her background is not in dental, she has found it very interesting learning about it in the Osborne location of Down-Home Dental. She enjoys hearing the groans when she tells “dad jokes” to her co-workers.
Gina’s goals are to make everyone feel at home while striving to provide the best customer service at Down-Home Dental.
Some of her favorite past times and activities include: attending OHS football games and wrestling tournaments, checking out car shows, using her artistic skills, spending time at Wilson Lake (camping, kayaking), horseback riding, and spending time with family and friends.
Fun fact: she has spent some time with the Osborne County Community Foundation (OCCF) and honed her skills writing grants for the school and other area projects.
MICHELE
Office Manager
Michele graduated from Wilson High School. She went on to continue her education at Barton County Community College. She lives on a farm near Dorrance, KS with her husband. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her farm animals and 2 dogs, Bowan & Indy. She and her husband also enjoy hunting, traveling and spending time with their grandchildren.
JILL
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jill is a 1981 graduate from KVCC in Kalamazoo, MI. She has spent the last 25 years practicing in Kansas. Loyalty, compassion, and educating her patients are still driving her to give her patients the utmost care. She has 4 children and when not working in the dental field she enjoys helping with her grandchildren. Jill enjoys outdoor life and is always willing to experience new adventures.
