Financial Policy

Down-Home Dental accepts cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We do NOT accept Care Credit or state coverage. If utilizing a verified insurance benefit, co-pay and deductible are due on the day your treatment is rendered. Patients are responsible for all costs of dental treatment. If you're unsure or want to know more about our dental services, give us a call or contact us online.

As the patient, it is very important for you to understand your insurance coverage. Dental insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company. Our team is very knowledgeable with regards to coverage profiles, but it is impossible for us to keep up with the ever-changing dental insurance industry. As a courtesy to our patients, Down-Home Dental will be happy to file your dental insurance claim on your behalf. Please provide an updated insurance card with group and subscriber information to verify eligibility and to correctly submit your claim.

Appointment & Rescheduling

Down-Home Dental appointments are scheduled exclusively for you. We are happy to reserve times that are convenient for you and your family. In order to provide new patients with times that are convenient for their schedules, and to effectively run our dental practice, we require a 48-hour notice of cancellation.

If you are not able to make your scheduled appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible to determine if we have another time that day that may work better with your schedule. If you are more than ten minutes late for your appointment, we may ask you to reschedule. We at Down-Home Dental realize that emergencies and/or illnesses may occur, and will handle each missed appointment on an individual basis. We do, however, reserve the right to require a deposit to schedule future appointments, or charge a "missed appointment fee".
